There are four trophy matches to play for the Spring Bowl, St Cross cup, Broadcast Shield and the Singles cup. The Spring bowl and the St Cross cup are stableford points competition played over 36 holes. The Broadcast shield is a knockout match play competition The singles cup is played over 12 rounds, and is an accumulated stableford points competition

 

Entering a tee1up golf society  event

The intended practice is to post the event about three weeks in advance of the day on this web site in addition members will also be sent an email. Places are allocated on a first come basis as places are normally restricted by the golf club we are attending, so it is best to reply early to avoid disappointment. Several days before the event is scheduled and payments have been received the entry list will be closed. Details of the competition and directions will then be posted and email to entrants, tee times and names of playing partners will be allocated/drawn on the day. Events are not cancelled because of weather conditions, unless the course being visited is closed. If in doubt on the day you should contact the course or organiser. If you are late cancellation and a replacement cannot be found, or you do not turn up for the event you will incur the full cost for your allocated place.
